It is recommended to manually wash your car about every week. Use waterless wash products if the car is not too dirty. If the car has dirt or other residues, wash it gently with a mild soapy water solution and a soft cloth. Avoid strong soluble substances, alcohol, and abrasive solutions.

Chrome vinyl wrap is perhaps the most challenging vinyl wrap type to install on any vehicle and therefore should not be attempted by complete novices. This kind of super-shiny mirrored finish is delicate to handle and unforgiving in its application. Creasing, visible fingerprints, and over-stretching are common outcomes when amateurs install chrome vinyl wrap.

Chrome film won’t damage the paintwork on your car if it is installed and removed correctly. Scratches to paintwork are the most common damage caused by chrome vinyl wraps and they only occur if the incorrect tools are used during the application or removal process. Squeegees and scrapers must be rigid, but not so rigid they cause damage to the paintwork of the vehicle.
