To tint or not to tint? The answer is obvious! Alex Belov, Tinting Chicago’s general manager, goes deep into the specifics of the modern tinting industry. He explains the benefits of tinting for many spheres of our lives — from commuting to work to housing customization, from business performance-enhancing to crazy modern advertising possibilities. But tinting business is much more than just practicality and a “Wow-effect”! Read on to find out why you sometimes need to tint at night, what the films hide, and when it is better not to tint at all. Find out more in Part 2 of this article.
Alex, what services do modern tint shops offer to their customers?
Well, I guess I can call our shops modern (laughs, — editor’s note). We offer our clients a full range of tinting services: automotive window tint, commercial window tint, and residential window tint. We can tint any glass surface that exists! But by glass I mean real glass, not plastic or plexiglass: it’s impossible to properly apply vinyl films onto those surfaces. Besides “standard” cars, we have tinted boats, semi-trucks, and even helicopters!
Another big section of our work is car vinyl wrap/car color change. By applying quality films over the vehicle’s body, we can completely change its looks! With the help of the vinyl stripes application, chrome deletes, and many other interesting wrapping options, it is possible to create custom designs for any kind of vehicle. It is a simple and affordable way to upgrade the “status” of your car, increase its resale value, or turn it into an effective advertising instrument on wheels.
One of the most popular wrapping services that our clients request is the so-called “night package”. You can get this visually attractive finish for your vehicle times cheaper than directly from the factory.
Car paint protection helps to keep the original paintwork in perfect condition, retain the value of the vehicle, and, of course, to protect it from road debris, scratches, and harmful UV rays. Tinting Chicago works only with the best brands of PPF (paint protection films) and guarantees high quality of work and materials.
Here at Tinting Chicago, we are also proud of our fleet graphics portfolio. Having successfully completed fleet customization for such clients as FedEx, Amazon, and many others, we offer these services to all businesses who want to make a memorable statement with the help of their corporate fleet — vans, trailers, etc. This service is a part of our new range of commercial graphics works. Each of the listed services is presented on our website in the form of special packages: choose the one that you need and significantly save! In case you need assistance, feel free to contact our 24/7 customer service at 773-455-0467 or 312-212-0493.
Why does Tinting Chicago choose to offer these particular services?
Because when you have just bought a car, you most likely want to upgrade it. First of all, tint the windows, which makes your ride become literally cooler right away! Wrapping is a popular choice for second-hand car owners: it allows to hide all imperfections and even changes the color of the vehicle in no time. Car paint protection keeps the original paintwork in its pristine state and is often sought after by rare, vintage, sports, or expensive car owners.
Besides special packages for each of the categories, you can choose the mixed ones! For example, we can perform window tinting, headlights and tail lights wrap, and PPF application at once. Please check out our most popular packages here.
As for residential and commercial tinting, we provide these services because they are quite a logical “extension” of the automotive tinting works. The concept and the set of skills required are almost the same, so it makes total sense to offer tinting for homes and businesses too.
To sum up: our company always extends its knowledge and expertise. We watch the industry developing — and develop with it.
Are you planning to expand to different areas and add some other services? If yes, why?
Of course, we are planning to expand our business — both geographically and service-wise. We plan to open new tinting shops in Chicago, as well as in the other cities and states of the U.S. We are moving at our own pace — as I mentioned earlier, our team tests all of the new services and products until it’s absolutely sure that the quality matches our high standards. Now, after having opened a new shop in Palatine, we will put all our efforts into establishing its 100% smooth operation. And then, when we are sure that it works up to our standard, we will proceed to the next location.
As for the services, we are constantly adding them too. For example, we have started offering ceramic coating — a special liquid application over the vinyl wrap, or even PPF. It adds a substantial level of UV protection and gives a car an impressive shiny look. As if it just came out from the factory!
We thoroughly test-drive each of the new products ourselves: and only when we are 100% sure of their impeccable quality, do we include them in the list of our services and offer them to the customers.
